Add Events by Voice — Making the Most of Spare Moments with Voice Input

"I need to make a dentist appointment for next Monday" — the moment you think of it right after hanging up the phone, your hands are full or you're in the middle of something, so you think "I'll enter it later" and then forget. A common story.

Voice input significantly reduces this problem.

Enter Events by Voice

Using Panda Calendar's voice input feature, you can create an event just by saying "dentist visit" to your phone or remote. You don't need a keyboard, so tapping and typing effort is zero.

Especially Useful in These Situations

  • Right after hanging up a phone call, wanting to enter what you just heard
  • When cooking and you can't let go
  • When something occurs to you while walking
  • When you're holding a child and only have one hand free

When you want to "write it down before you forget," voice input enters it incomparably faster.

"Enter It Roughly by Voice and Fix It Later" Is Fine

You don't need to enter it perfectly. Just put it in roughly by voice first, then open the calendar later to add the specific location or items to bring. That's plenty.

"I was going to enter it but gave up" is far worse than "I entered it imperfectly." Even slightly imperfect, having it in the calendar means you won't forget.

Once You Get Used to Voice Input, You Won't Give It Up

It might feel a little embarrassing at first. But once you're used to it, you'll realize it's faster and more accurate than typing. Voice recognition accuracy has improved, and the satisfaction of just speaking to create an event is real.

If you've never tried it, give it one shot today.

Panda Calendar's voice input feature lets you add events right when you think of them.
